Everything about my experience with Economy Auto Service in Mechanic Falls exceeded my expectations for an auto mechanics shop! I had emergency auto repair needed arise on Monday morning.

Not only did employee "Larry" answer phone call before 8 am, but he was very friendly and helped explain everything thoroughly over the phone prior to my appointment and answered any questions I had. I arrived and was offered water by the very nice lady that works at the front desk (I apologize I did not get her name). Owner "Brian" walked out to my vehicle and made sure any questions were answered prior to them working on it, again, very friendly and funny! Employee "Joe" worked on the car and everything is working perfectly (new alternator).

I had a water pump failure on a 2013 Toyota Highlander. Economy Auto Service had been recommended to us and we had them work on our car before for a minor fix/verification and I was very satisfied then. This was major and a lot more complicated though. After getting our initial estimate, my fiancée and I weighed whether it was worth it to fix it or get a new car. We decided to go ahead and get the new water pump installed. About a week later, we got the unexpectedly early call that the work was finished and the price was 67% lower than the original estimate. Economy Auto is absolutely amazing! We just moved to the area and they were beyond helpful, up front with cost, estimates and what needed to be done and what could wait.
