We recently had the pleasure of participating in a team building activity with Benjamin, and it was an absolute blast! Our team was looking for a unique and creative experience to strengthen our bonds and unleash our artistic sides, and I immediately thought of Benjamin and Rogue Stoneware.
Benjamin is a warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful individual. He guided us through the entire process, from selecting our pottery pieces to choosing the perfect colors and providing helpful tips and techniques. His expertise and enthusiasm made the experience enjoyable for everyone, regardless of artistic ability.
For our event he provided a wide range of pottery pieces to choose from. He also ensured that we had all the necessary materials and tools to bring our visions to life.
Once we started painting, the creativity and laughter flowed freely. The atmosphere Benjamin brings with him is relaxed and inviting, allowing us to truly enjoy the experience. Whether we were painting intricate designs or simply splashing colors on our pottery, the process was therapeutic and allowed us to express ourselves in a unique way.
After we finished painting, he takes our creations to be fired and glazed. We eagerly await the final results!
Not only did we have a fantastic time painting our own pottery, but the team building aspect of the experience was also invaluable. Working together on a creative project allowed us to communicate, collaborate, and appreciate each other's unique strengths. It was a great opportunity to bond outside our normal work environment and strengthen our team dynamics.
Overall, I highly recommend the paint your own pottery team building experience with Benjamin. His expertise, the wide selection of pottery, and the relaxed atmosphere all contribute to a memorable and enjoyable experience. Whether you're looking for a fun team building activity or simply want to unleash your creativity, his private event option is a...
Read moreThe mug I bought from Ben sure can keep up with me. Maybe it's the no-handle design that enables it to go where few mugs have gone before...
Two years ago when I saw Ben's booth at the Ashland Farmer's Market, I decided to treat myself to the first ceramic I'd ever purchased from the human who made it. Not a Goodwill score, not a hand-me-down, but a real Big Girl Mug. Something about that little thumb divot brought me a moment of tiny joy that would not be denied so I traded my money for it and the two of us embarked on a grand adventure. I have sipped my morning coffee out of this mug on the rugged coast of Oregon, the foothills of the North Cascades in Washington, BLM land near Joshua Tree, wild red rock creosote country around Sedona, and everywhere in between. Its range of beverage-holding capabilities has been tested too, from looseleaf tea blends to boxed red wine blends, raw unpasteurized milk to hot toddy's with generous amounts of whipped cream. People are often first drawn to the beautiful relief design in its glaze, then when I show them how to hold it with that precious little thumb divot, their delight always grows.
It can be daunting to move seasonally as I do, working as an Outdoor Educator during the summers then living out of my car in the winters. I sometimes crave the ease of a home base. So having little comforts and consistencies in my daily routines grounds me and helps me feel at home anywhere. Some people might say that having a handmade ceramic mug for car camping is unnecessary and impractical, but I say do whatever the f$%* brings you joy, and this little...
Read moreThis review is long overdue! We met Benjamin at the Growers Market in Grants Pass. We quickly made this market our Saturday morning routine and he was one of the first people to welcome us to town. We started giving his pottery artwork as gifts and quickly started our very own collection. The craftsmanship is second to none with my favorite piece being the colander, though the large bowl that now sits on our dining room table is a neighborhood favorite. The glossy blue interior against the matted exterior is awesome! Benjamin puts his love into every piece and it shows. The next time you’re at the Grants Pass Growers Market on a Saturday morning, stop by and see him. You’ll be glad you did!!...
