BUYERS BEWARE!!!! The prices vary by the meat u choose with your plate. They do not tell you this so what you may be thinking is a fair price may not be. The white guy told me the prices change often so that's why they don't post the prices....I ain't buying that...it's a lame excuse and shows lack of respect of intelligence for the community it is serving. Write the price on a dry erase board & change it as necessary. Where do you order food & don't know how much it cost until after paying? That is bullshit! Nothing shopping in there but blacks but nobody know how much the food cost except cashier. I don't like that. On the other hand the food is delicious and most items are reasonably priced. I just don't like that you are usually being rushed to order & there are NO PRICE LISTED! Black people raise your expectations on these folks....demand to have posted pricing. Anyway I'll be back for my weekly plate. Lol...also deserts are brought in fresh every Thursday so I feel old deserts should be discounted...

I had been given a great recommendation by a customer at my business to try Gary's Market for their plate lunch. Yesterday I went there for the first time to buy lunch for a friend & myself. The food was EXCELLENT ! Catfish was very good and multiple choices of vegetables. The macaroni & cheese is some of the best I've ever eaten ! Cornbread was good too. When I told the man running the cash register that I was a first time customer... his response to me was " you will be back " Sir, you are correct !!! I'm looking forward to trying the meatloaf, spaghetti, pork chops and many of the other veggies. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my questions & requests. THANK YOU GARY'S for a memorable lunch

Your business is located in the black community also shared with the hispanic community.
