UPDATE: STRASSNER FURNITURE & UPHOLSTERY, IS TAKING CARE OF THE ISSUES! Oakwood Industries, is mailing the hardware to me. They're sending the replacement broken panel to Strassner Furniture. Once they receive they will travel the 60+ miles to my house and replace. They're also making a new side table to replace the defective table. This furniture is not in-expensive and solid wood, not particle board. I'm sure once the issues are resolved, we'll be very happy with our purchase. Thank you to both Oakwood Industries and Strassner Furniture, for standing behind your products.
Would love to give 5 stars. Wish when we were on vacation, in early August, at Mark Twain Lake, we would have visited your location and placed our order directly with you. We placed an order at Strassner Furniture in Hermann, MO, 10/10/2020, I’ve already contacted them. They received from you 12/08/2020, we picked up late that day. We unboxed, the next evening. We have no hardware, to hold up the shelves in the console cabinet. The board on the back of the cabinet, where it’s screwed on, is broken. Maybe something was bumped against the back of the cabinet, before boxing? The carton wasn’t damaged. It isn’t in an area, where a hand would touch while unboxing or moving. One of the side tables wobbles and the drawer always opens about a 1/2 inch. When we ordered it was important for us to receive high quality furniture of solid wood. For the side table, I set on furniture slides so it doesn’t wobble on my hardwood floors. Maybe the $1,725.78, I spent on the two tables and cabinet is not a lot of money to you, but it is to me. I think all three items purchased should have been perfect. I’ve already waited 2 months for the furniture and now can’t use the cabinet. I’m very...
Read moreThe positive posts must be from family members of this company. My wife bought a blanket chest from this company back during COVID and the paint thinner like smell is still in the chest. When I complained about it to the furniture dealer they told me this company said to leave the top open. Here we are years later and the smell is still there. Secondly, I just found one of the blankets had oil on it along with metal shavings from the hinge that keeps the lid from slamming closed. I guess that is what we get for "buying American made" furniture. Also, Inspector 53 must have been high from the paint fumes when they allowed this product to leave the...
