It was a birth experience that ruined this hospital for me, everything else was really good. March 2020 I gave birth and later on had a nurse keep asking to give my baby an exam in the nursery, but I didnt want him away from me. She said the light was better. I told her to turn on the lights and examine him in room or be specific about what she needed. Next day the doctor came in told me they were going to check him in the nursery, told me I could follow if I wanted and walked out with him! They were just bent over him in that dim room...same light level as mine btw. No explanations were ever offered. My OBGYN came in a bit later and told me the hospital would be locking down and asked if I wanted to stay or go home early with my baby. We went home early. I miss my OB, but I'll never risk someone taking my baby without telling me exactly whats going on again. That was horrible. If there was a separate google listing for the birthing center, I would put this review there because the rest of the hospital really is good. Its just that this shouldn't ever...

I was at this hospital for two appointments, and both times waited WAY too long. Was going to make an appt for shoulder surgery, but now, we'll see.

2nd appt: for CT scan at 1pm. Told to come 30 min. early. Got there, @noon, registered, then sat in the waiting room for 3 hours. They tell you to call 1632 with a phone on the wall if you have been waiting longer than 15min. Hubby wouldn't let me call, but after 30 min, I called. The phone rang for 5min, the CT guy asked me what I needed (the phone never answered). I tell him we have been waiting and he is rude, telling me they are busy and they will get to me when he can. There's no point in calling. We got in at 2:50 and left at 3:15 pm.

Reason for 3 stars and not 1: The hospital called us after my initial review and apologized for the long wait. Hubby said he would give them another shot. Hopefully, we won't have to wait while everyone else gets to go in and out...

I was in here several years ago for a heart problem and received excellent care! The nurses that cared for me then even recognize me over 5 years later! 🥰 Later that year, I was in the ER after a car accident and received terrible care. They handled me quite roughly... it was cold & Noone even offered a blanket, but told my mom "they're over there" 5 years later, I brought my baby there for asthma and they did a great job with him (shout out to Hailey! You are awesome 👌) Recently my mom was hospitalized here. Everyone exceeded our expectations by far! Dr Hoyal is wonderful! The only problem with him is that he's stretched waaaaayyyy too thin & my mom waited like 28 hours after being admitted to be seen by him which seemed a little ridiculous... but he was able to diagnose her even though it's a rare autoimmune disorder. She said the nurses took good care of her and we all appreciated...
