OneTen Cycles — Local services in Mendota Heights

My experience has largely been in the service department. A tech named Cameron has been particularly helpful as we’ve navigated recurring brake issues on a Trek bicycle I purchased a couple years ago. I’ve felt at times he must be tired of seeing me walk through the door, but he’s been unfailingly polite, honest, and helpful. Cameron was able to persuade Trek to replace the brake components for free. He installed them offering a 50% discount on labor, which I refused since he’d been so generous previously. I’m hoping this is the last of the recurring issues and I look forward to having only maintenance, vs. repairs, performed on my bike going forward. I appreciate 110 Cycle providing a welcoming environment vs. the snobbish atmosphere which characterizes other shops. As an added bonus, the shop’s owner regularly brings her dog to work, which is always a great way to spend time while waiting for repairs to be completed. I went in with two bicycles to get fixed. My bike needed a lot of work and so did my son’s bike. They made sure to add the parts for my bike directly to my bike. I mean literally taped the part that needed to be replaced to my bike. Made sure the part was there when it was my turn. Very awesome!

Then we got a call telling me that the bike tire had a tear and it was not safe for me to ride. Gave a cheap option and a tad bit more expensive one.

When we picked up our bikes my son wanted a bell and told them to put it on the bill. I didn’t expect them to ask my son which handle bar did he wanted on. It’s the little things that make this shop awesome. Some say it’s a bit more expensive than others. I say you got what you pay for! This shop has experienced techs and knowledgeable sales personnel.

This place is amazing! More than amazing but my vocabulary doesn't have a word to really top that.

I was getting a clicking noise from my wheelchair wheels so checked my spokes and noticed that each one felt like the tension was different.

I emailed OneTen Cycles to see if they could help. The owner responded quickly saying they'll get them fixed up for me even though my wheels aren't really standard wheels to deal with.

Both the mechanic and the owner went above and beyond.

The tension on my non-standard spokes were carefully fixed, my wheels were trued and the pressure in my tires was checked and corrected. I rolled out of there in a safe chair.
