Great place to refresh travel weary teens and parents! Add in the historical elements, and you have a field trip. We toured the mill and hiked the trails. Beautiful and a bit strenuous. Proprietors were friendly and helpful. Admission is $5 per adult. Well worth your time and money. Would love to visit again when we're in the area.

Came to know about this while driving from Birmingham to New Orleans… Visited it last weekend and loved it… beautifully maintained… Waterfall is the main attraction but the trails are equally good… Good place to enjoy with friends and family

This place is a disgrace! My family paid to visit and it is ruined! Building or the mill has not been repaired in a very long time! I am extremely disappointed with the PHWD! This beautiful park should be first to be repaired and operational for the public to enjoy! I will be writing to our leaders about this. VERY...

Last stop on our mystery trip with the grandkids. Highest waterfall in Mississippi. The old mill was very interesting. The walk down to the river is very steep but was well worth the walk. Kids loved sitting in the river and the falls from the river...
