Martin's Food Center — Local services in Merrill

I've lived in the small town of Merrill since 2015. I have good memories of Martin's, the local grocery store, over most of those years. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, customer service has suffered tremendously. Over the last year, their pricing system is a complete failure. There is one pompas cashier, Kevin, who thinks so highly of his own opinion, he will argue with you and step all over himself making excuses for the overcharged prices, clearly marked on the shelves, he's willing to argue the exact opposite of truth. Their prejudices are another story. Staff is unprofessional and biased to say the least. I've heard nasty comments from the employees about people of color. A slice of an America long gone, Martin's is a family owned store with old school charm. Sadly, service there has become hit or miss; cashiers are friendly one day and rude the next.
