First visit went well or so we had thought. After we talked with and was assisted by the owner and his suit specialist in the back, we finally found a suit that fit. But the owner said with our wedding being four months away that we should wait just in case of accidental weight gain or loss. They told me they would hold the suit back for a month or two and put my contact information on a pice of paper attached it to the suit and set it in the back. Me and my fiancé went back today to see how the suit fit after 5 weeks, we called on our way up to the store to make sure they still had my suit held for us to come pick it up. (We live an hour away so we wanted to make sure before making the drive.) They said yes it’s here waiting for you. So we get there and they spend 15 minutes looking for the suit and bring out 3 different sizes and colors, not even close to the original and proceed to try and tell us this is close to the suit you had picked out. We showed them the picture of the suit they we’re supposedly holding for us. I was “okay it’s alright we can find another one” But we couldn’t due to lack of selection, they didn’t have the correct size or color similar to our original choice. On the way out the door the woman behind the counter had to make some smart remarks about how they don’t hold suits for more than two days. I said that’s fine “I will find my suit somewhere else” in a calm tone. She snarkily snapped and said back “go ahead that’s fine!” I own many suits and blazers and have never had such a poor customer service in a storefront of this type. I will NEVER return or do business with them. Have a friend that had similar experience when he returned to pick up a shirt and another tie after he purchased his suit from here. Went here on their recommendation after him and his fiancé first visited.

Read moreThank you Davis Clothing for making our visit so enjoyable! My son needed a suit for homecoming and after coming across their reviews I decided to make the hour plus drive to check them out. We were greeted immediately and the first suit that was suggested for my son fit perfectly, he didn’t even need to ask his size! My son typically dislikes shopping and is usually very shy. He felt very comfortable and even mentioned how much he enjoyed his visit after we were all finished. He couldn’t believe that everything they chose fit perfectly and he was so pleased that he didn’t have to try on several different suits or pairs of shoes. One stop shopping and they assisted with choosing every single item needed down to the belt, socks, and shoes. We were in and out quickly and the alterations were made on the spot while we chose a tie. Worth the drive as it actually saved us time and the usual stress of putting this all together ourselves and figuring out sizes etc. Definitely don’t hesitate making the drive if you’re not local, we will be back. Thanks for making his first suit purchase such a...
Read moreI went to Davis Clothing to get a suit for my upcoming wedding. I was immediately greeted by Dionne when we walked in, who promptly asked what we were in the market for. After telling her why we were there, she led us to the suits. She proceeded to show me numerous options to find the style I was comfortable in and liked. What impressed me was that she was not selling the brands; rather she was finding the suit that I was comfortable in and liked. After picking out the suit, they fitted the pants and tailored them while I was looking at corresponding shirts and ties. Dionne was extremely helpful and courteous. Within less than an hour and half, I had a tailored suit and corresponding shirts and ties. I was amazed by their personal service and professional knowledge. I will definitely be back, and have already recommended others to go to Davis Clothing. I considered going to Men's Warehouse in St. Louis, but I am glad I made the right choice by going to...
