Such a wonderful place to visit while in Cox MetroPark. Unfortunately, it is closed due to Covid. However, the views from the topic are beautiful as you can see out over the park. I would suggest coming on a nice warm day and ending the walk though the park by climbing the tower. (It can be quite the workout!) Tip: bring a camera to the top and enjoy photographing the scenery from a birds-eye view!

While walking around Cox Arboretum we always take time to walk to the top of the Tree Tower to look all around Dayton. A beautiful view! Honestly, I was a little out of breath when I got to the top🙄🤣 But a great time. *Caution* There were quite a few wasps flying around at the top so caution to those with allergies. Could just be the time year.

Beautiful view of Cox Arboretum from the top of the Tree Tower. Their is a sign at bottom of Tree Tower indicating capacity is 20 people on top level and 3 on all other levels. There is 8 flights of stairs to top of tower.

My husband and i love this place. Its beautiful and informative with a lot of trees and plants having tags on them. It welcomes doggos, which we love! The treetop view is amazing but be mindful that some may get a bit dizzy or uncomfortable feeling it sway at the top. We spotted a hawk swooping down to catch prey in the distance from the treetop! We have taken great photos...
