Anas is an amazing personal trainer. I know I don't make his life easy with my vast history of injuries or with how much I'll complain during sessions but he has the most patience of anyone I know. Because I've had so many injuries, it was always hard finding the right exercises that don't exacerbate my knees or even finding trainers that would figure out ways to best modify workouts safely. Unfortunately for me, Anas is very creative in figuring out many ways to target the muscle groups in a way that isn't painful. So if one exercise is really hard and kinda hurts, I'll get a little happy because I know it means we'll stop that specific exercise, but then he'll come up with another one that I had never seen or heard of that targets the exact same muscle groups, is just as challenging, but without the pain. Basically: don't let the innocent smile fool you - he takes great pleasure in making sure your sessions are challenging and that you'll be sore but he also does a phenomenal job in adapting to your needs and limitations if you have them. After putting me through several assessments and answering his questions, he had a theory that the issue was stemming from the way that the driver seat in my car was designed. He made a trip out to my vehicle to confirm his theory and said that the seat was forcing my body into a position that was putting excess strain on my back.
