Our area of the country is blessed with farmers and ranchers, and local processing plants like this one are accustomed to partnering with their communities to provide healthy, safe food. It's so clean and the people are cheerful; the young man who loaded my order into my car was especially kind and helpful. The processing fees are very inexpensive! Next year I will plan ahead and secure a side of beef to be processed here as well, because the side of pork they did for me is outstanding. We had bought a cow from our sister in law who is close to Miami. She got the beef butchered here and I’ve never seen such sloppy work. Nothing is consistent, nothing is right, pretty much anything they labeled as a “steak” needs to be cut up into stew meat because it’s already chopped to pieces.

I’d rather send my next beef to the butcher college and have the first year one eyed one armed butcher student do it because he would do a better job.

M&M processed a half of a beef and a whole hog, nearly 450 lbs of meat. We only had 4 packages come unsealed. M&M made it right. Fresh meat will always be better. Thank you, 10 months into purchase of meats, over half of my packages have unsealed themselves. I dont feel like driving an hour to rectify. I'll reseal myself and hope the frost hasn't hurt it....
