Dee-Jays Custom Butchering — Local services in Middlebury Township

We bought a hog twice this last season from a farmer and he uses Dee-Jays for his processing. Whenever you get an animal processed there is always the chance of the butcher keeping some for themselves on the side and you never really know right? Well after we picked up our last hog two months went by and we were happy with our meat and the job they did and I got a phone call. It was Dee-Jays apologizing that they missed a box of our pork in the freezer. It was a large box too full of a lot of bacon which is our fav. They could have just kept it and we would be none the wiser but they were honest and called. The website is completely inaccurate for this company. I was charged more than double what the website says for slaughter. When calling to discuss this I was told that it was my fault because I didn't ask the price on the phone. So ridiculous! They are good at processing, but terrible at...

I stopped by Dee Jays for the first time and picked up some ghost pepper summer sausage. The lady I spoke with was polite and welcoming. The front room was clean and organized. Most importantly, the sausage is really good. 10/10...
