Fairview Woodworking — Local services in Middlebury

Seen this company at the home show. Called a couple times about the tables and mantels. Drove over 4 hours was told they are closed. Website says 5pm. If your doing business on the internet you may want to consider updating your websites and search platforms. Wasted time and gas driving 4 hours.

Updated: We decided to make the drive back up and found out the family member passed away (believe they said it was the owner) that's the reason they were closed on our last visit and they were open normals hours this Saturday. We spent a lot of money and I hope the quality is as good as the products in the showroom but I have a strong feeling it will be. I plan on returning for all my future woodworking needs. I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for and this furniture is amazing. Way more price reasonable then the bigger stores that claim to sell Amish furniture as well. Get it direct...

We visited Shipshewana furniture stores looking for a counter height table that would match some chairs we already had. The prices were high. We found Fairview Woodworking near Shipshewana and visited with them and told them what we would like. They showed us the wood they thought we might like for the table. We chose wormy maple with a neutral finish. We picked it up late April 2023 and it turned out beautifully and matched the chairs. We are so happy we decided to use Fairview Woodworking. They built the table at their location. We even saw the building where they make them. We were very impressed with the quality and workmanship of all the furniture they had. Our table was probably half the cost of the ones in town. We would highly recommend Fairview Woodworking. I wish I could figure out how...

We bought a desk from here in October....had seen a desk I liked at another furniture store in the Shipshewana area but wanted to have the back side of it finished ....showed them a picture of what I had saw and between owner and I...we drawed up a sketch and 8 weeks later I picked up a extremely beautiful piece of furniture...my wife and I are now looking to return and sketch up a drawing for an additional piece for the dining room...highly recommend and you save 25 % by buying from the furniture makers...just by cutting out...
