Nice place! They had a lot of different flavors of cheese, couldn’t resist.. I purchased two I hadn’t tried before. After getting home, we put the cheese on crackers, they were delicious! Next time I’m bringing my small cooler to bring some things home. Another customer said the butter was amazingly delicious. I didn’t get it, because we didn’t have our cooler. 85° outside, it wouldn’t have made the two hour ride home. Staff was very kind, this place was super clean. Worth the few minutes to go a mile and a quater from the main road. I’d definitely go back.

it is a handicap accessible location for All different kinds of cheeses, as well as the purchase of all sorts of old-fashioned and modern candies, pops, food, and snacks. Located West of Shipshewana, just a few minutes east of Middlebury, Indiana.

Nice store with more types of cheese than one could imagine. The staff were friendly and helpful trying to get us the type of Swiss we were looking for. Unfortunately we missed the live cheese making time but were happy that we visited again.

90% of north american cheese. Including europian imported...contains an ingredient called fpc. Fpc is manufactured by Pfizer. This is why most of the cheese with the label ā€œvegetable rennetā€ isn’t real vegetable rennet. It’s either microbial rennet (made from mold) or FPC (the GMO version) since there is no regulation on the terms used for what rennet is used in cheese labeling.

Microbial rennet — Another alternative to animal rennet is ā€œmicrobial rennet,ā€ where the coagulating enzymes are produced by a specific type of mold, fungus or yeast organism grown and fermented in a lab setting (often fed soy). Yum. So while the microorganisms aren’t genetically modified, their food source likely is.

This is considered vegetarian-friendly as the enzyme produced by the organism is not derived from an animal. There is again a large consensus in the cheesemaking world that cheeses made with this type of microbial rennet can lead to a final cheese product with a bitter taste. This option is commonly used in ā€œcertified organicā€ and ā€œcertified...

Title: Amazing Cheese Selection and Friendly Staff!

Rating: āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

I recently visited Heritage Ridge Creamery and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They have an awesome selection of cheese products that cater to all tastes and preferences.

However, I did have a little mishap at the checkout. Unfortunately, my ranch cheese curds šŸ˜ž fell out of the container and made a mess. It would be great if they could consider adding tape over the lip of the containers to prevent accidents like mine.

Overall, I highly recommend Heritage Ridge Creamery for cheese lovers. The variety of cheeses available is impressive, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. Don't miss out on this cheese paradise! And also I highly recommend the...

Typically enjoy going here... NOT THIS TIME!!! The staff at this establishment yelled at me like I was a child. I understand that you request that we wear a mask inside the shop, that does not however give you the right to yell at my family. No greeting... nothing... just yelling at us like we are children. You will never recieve my, nor my families business again. I prefer to spend my money where people treat you with respect. Oh yeah... the staff that was yelling at me was standing next to a coworker WITHOUT their mask on.... too bad... my family has been going for years......
