Great place to pick sweet cherries!! 🍒 Full warning ⚠️ turn into whichever entrance and then loop into the parking lot and go in to get your buckets or you can use your own. We missed the 1st turn to the parking and assumed the second turn was for residential only so we drove a little until we could turn around. Definitely bring sunscreen as the trees 🌳 as even spread and the sun 🌞 is shinning 🔥 I hate cherry picking and just went so my kiddo could experience it but if you are really into it bring a little ladder 🪜 unless you're taller than me! Parents bring a stroller or bring a wagon or something unless you want to be like me and holding a child and their items 🧸 I was unsure if I could use the stroller but ours is made for jogging and would be just fine in the dirt and over all the bumps and what not. My family and I visited the apple orchard for the first time and it was a very enjoyable outing. Some other visitors have mentioned it was a long drive but we enjoyed the views coming over Old Freezeout Road. And when you live in the country already, a half hour drive is nothing.

Currently, Covid is a part of life and the people who run the orchard are handling it very gracefully. Buckets with plastic liners were provided for us and made checkout a breeze. They are disinfecting each bucket after being used, as well as wearing masks. We were also able to pay by card during our visit but I would recommend bringing cash in case they aren’t working well.

People (and dogs) were all very friendly and pleasant to chat with and the orchard was not busy or crowded with customers. We will plan an earlier trip next year for peaches and hopefully will remember to bring a fruit picker for the ones...
