Dixie's Smoke Shop — Local services in Middletown

So I'm fairly new to the world of wax pens and concentrates, so naturally I have a ton of questions regarding special features, specs of individual products, and just simple things I wanted a clearer understanding of. I had started this journey of mine by going to Mojo's Vape Shop in Middletown were I had a horrific experience and was completely appalled by the clerk's lack of customer service and dismissive attitude. So naturally I looked up the next closest shop which was Dixie's Smoke Shop which was luckily only 5 minutes away. At that point I was thinking what do I have to lose, anywhere has to be better than the experience I had at Mojo's. My first impression as I walked into Dixie's was that the store was very clean, had a great atmosphere, and the best part, they had such an amazing range of products! Honestly it was almost a little overwhelming! Thankfully though I was approached by one of the employees who immediately welcomed me to the store! I explained to him that I was looking for a wax pen and warned him that I had a ton of questions. Also that I was looking for a particular product that had a safety feature that automatically shuts the device off after 5 minutes (I'm narcoleptic) and wanted to avoid accidentally burning out the battery or causing potential damage due to falling asleep randomly while using the product. After showing him a picture of what I was looking for he instantly provided me with a ton of information about that particular product, and admitted that he no longer carries it, but offered to special order it in just for me if that's what I really wanted. However, I was looking to leave with something that day so I asked him for any recommendations he had. So with that he took me over to the display case and began explaining the different aspects, features, and quality of each product, he was extremely thorough so needless to say I was highly impressed! He even gave me space and suggested I look up reviews for certain products if I wanted to see other users reviews so I didn't have to rely on just his opinion. Furthermore, during the entire time I was there he never tried to sell me on the highest priced item, in fact he suggested pens that were more affordable and based his suggestions on what he has gotten the most positive feedback on, while suggesting I should start off with something more cost effective while I am still learning and seeing if it's something I wanna invest more in down the road. The clerk also took the time to look up information and pull out products when I had questions about something he wasn't sure of, which I appreciate versus just lying or making something up just to sell me something. All in all I ended up going with one of his suggestions and can say currently that I'm extremely happy with my purchase and it's performance. I wish I would of gotten his name, but I can guarantee that I'll ask it next time I'm in because Dixie Smoke Shop you best believe you have earned my trust and loyalty as a customer and I will be returning to you guys for all my future needs! It was truly a very pleasant experience and stellar customer service that went above and beyond all my expectations! Thank you again for all your help! And for anyone who lives in the Middletown area I suggest you don't waste your time at any other shop! And if you're someone like me (I live out in Oxford) I can guarantee you Dixie's Smoke Shop and their staff is worth the drive if you're looking for superior service and a large and diverse inventory! Was given a Itaste Clk vape pen awhile back ago that needed a tank and atomizer. Finally decided to try it out in route of quiting smoking. I went to this place to see if they carried a tube all for this device. The guy there said yeah he has a cheap one that cost a bit more. $5.99 for plastic or $14.99 for stainless and Pyrex tube. I went with the Pyrex. He took my vape pen and open the tube box and put together to show me it fit. Okay good, "I'll take it" I said asking if the coil or whatever came with it. He told oh no that's sold separately went back somewhere to grab one. So 14.99 turned into $32.67. next day been thinking about the situation and grabbed the box the tube came in and looked online. Aspire K1, everywhere I looked the atomizer/tub, all of it was one unit. Everywhere is sold as one unit. I didn't have the vape knowledge so he ripped me off. Good thing for I would of went back and spent a great deal on a sub something type mods. Went to Zero1Vape Lounge out in Kettering to check it out. The guy there asked me questions and knew I was clueless. He walked me through it all and just like that he got a nice sell and a customer who will be back. I only go to buy Vape mods vaping juice and hardware. They have EVERYTHING!!! Ive only seen one of the emplyees there each time Ive gone. It had been 5 years since I bought my last mod. Thing have change drastically since then. The gentalman was extremly helpful. He was honest and didnt try to upsale me on unnecessary products and definatly knew all the retail inside and out.
