I recently started throwing pottery and wanted to purchase supplies from a small business. I browsed the KY Mudworks website a couple times, but preferred being able to look at glazes in person before buying, so when I found out I'd be visiting Louisville for an event, I made sure I would have some time to stop in to the store while I was in the area. I was the only customer in the store when I arrived, and the employee at the counter let me browse, but was there to answer questions and look up pricing when I needed her. She also offered to hold my selections at the counter while I continued browsing. They have such a wide variety of glazes and tools at various price points too. They were also consistent about having test tiles on different types of clay for each glaze, which was exactly why I wanted to visit in person. They took over a week to even box and ship the packages, and it took longer than 3 days for the shipping to arrive. It's disappointing because they're the largest clay supplier I can find in the area. When I contacted them they said they were unboxing from a move, but had zero indication of that on their website.
