This gym and the community are absolutely incredible. Jean, the owner, truly cares about every athlete that walks through the door. The programming and coaching is top notch and scalable to all abilities. Coach Claire truly made a huge impact on my abilities as an athlete as well as my confidence. I love how thorough the warms up were and movement reviews every day - it shows you how much they care about building a strong foundation before putting any weight on the bar. As a residential student at the Naval War College, I experienced the opportunity of joining One Asterisk for six months. The fitness centers on the Navy base do not possess CrossFit or HIIT equipment, which I found frustrating. Thank God I found this gym. I absolutely loved the facility, programming, and staff. The website is user friendly, and they provide reasonable pricing for a variety of options to cater to your situation. Jean is a knowledgeable coach, and I like her candor during instruction. Joe is also great to work with at the gym.
