I left their facility today in tears, with an illmade, illfitting acrylic denture as a result of a major screwup with a Flexible Nylon denture I had made outside of their facility. Their failure to communicate resulted in the destruction of my denture yesterday (which is going to cost me $1000-$500 the first time, $500 to replace it).As a result I am revising my review. I was not informed upfront they were going to remake my denture. In fact the release was brought to me after the procedure was done, before my denture was returned. I have never had dentures nor a reline, so I didnt fully grasp what they were doing. In retrospect no one ever fully explains anything here. I was told "you are ready for a reline" at a recent evaluation visit for a infected extraction site. With no explanation from this office, and based on internet research, i thought soft lining not remaking in ACRYLIC. Upon placing this horrible THING in my mouth and being confronted, Dr Strength actually said to me "when we reline an immediate denture" then I interrupted him and said "it wasn't an immediate it was one I had made" he then stumbled. "Oh yeah yours was flexible"..."Yeah it wont last as long as this one"... "we dont carry that monomer" ... i did get a refund, but MY GOD just explain what youre doing! Dont destroy a 2 month old denture that you cannot remake. Today at a different dental office we couldnt get them on the phone to get my xrays and records. REALLY REALLY ANGRY. I cannot wear this denture. I have sores, it sits so far forward it doesn't suction. I am very much upset still. To have had my denture I was happy with destroyed was like destroying part of me. It will be apx 4 weeks before a new one can arrive....not done with this yet. They need to...
Read moreI saved money for 3 years so I could get new teeth and what a nightmare it's been, my new dentures looks like they were made by an amateur, the teeth are so small and tiny they look like baby's teeth and they don't align with each other top to bottom, they will not chew the food properly and Dr price keeps making excuses for the dentures to his advantage of course.what a waste of money and time $2,000 plus. With these dentures they will not even bite through a slice of bread.trust me and save your money,go to a professional dentist, find one that also has good bedside manners. Now I've got to save money for another 3 years so I can get a professional dentist to make me a set of dentures and I'm 70 years old with no teeth to eat with.what a mess they putting me in.i tried to post a picture of them but it's will not allow me to. I hope this helps you with your decision .just don't put yourself in a bad situation. This was my experience, Raymond Taylor Update: it's been 10 months now since I had a full mouth extraction and now I'm gonna have to have surgery on my gums because of the dr percise was too aggressive when he extracted my teeth, causing damage to the gums leaving an exsive of bone fragments, the damage done is overwhelming, take my word for it, cheap dental work is,, you get what you pay for ,my advice is to go to a professional and don't be fooled by cheap prices. You get what you pay for. I can forsee a lawsuit in his future, only...
Read moreAfter calling for weeks trying to get an appointment, my husband and I decided to just show up and hope for a work in, we were able to get the work in, but I wish we hadn't. These people are cruel, taking advantage of their clientele, and have less than zero bedside manner.
The people here know that their clients are often lower income and use that as an excuse to treat them as less than people.
My husband went in to get a tooth pulled and get a new tooth added to his partial. The doctor walked in, never introduced himself, did not numb my husband properly, only numbing the front of the tooth saying that "it would hurt too much to numb the back". What on earth is the point of numbing the tooth then?
The dentist was gone for less than 5 minutes while the numbing took effect, not long enough for it to really kick in, and went straight to pulling, breaking off the tooth before being able to pull it, meanwhile my husband is screaming in pain because he wasn't properly numbed. His gums were black and blue with all the bruising.
Two days later he was eating and his partial broke in two because they didn't add the new tooth properly, and his new partial that they made him is now too thick and has sharp edges, wearing a blister into his gums.
Overall a very disconcerting experience, and we will not be returning. We would rather pay more money to be treated like people and...
