This course has become the only public course in midland due to other closing, so if I want to play, I ender up having to come here. It's been shown time and time again that the employees ultimately do not care about the people who come and want to enjoy a round of golf. They are borderline rude and disassociated from what their job responsibilities are. They care more about whether or not people are done playing before the sun goes down so they can leave early. They have no interest in being a hot spot for golf. Their "pro shop" is just a bunch of golf bags and shoes that haven't been sold in the last year. Their "grill" looks like it's an old city office break room. And the course is mediocre as it gets. It's good for what you can get in the desert but there's an obvious lack of care (due to what I believe is because it's city owned) all in all, if I wanna play golf, I have to come here since I cannot afford a membership anywhere, so they will continue to collect my money. But it is sad something that could be a labor of love and passion for the game is just another budget cut...
Read moreHorrible Customer Service Tee time policies a joke at this course, no common sense applied. Not all the pro shop guys narrow sighted but a few of them need customer service training. Because of the lack of courses in Midland/Odessa staffing and people that are attentive very much needed. Example impossible online tee time system non efficient. Calling in trying to work with someone on phone getting on, forget about it. Now the challenge, trying to get on as single with pro shop personnel. Could not get me on as I observed two somes and three somes teeing off. Kept my mouth shot and got on waiting list. Spent about an hour on range waiting for my name to be called, notta. Went to putting green waiting a little longer. Nobody teeing off Qual for 20 minutes. Continue watching 2 an 3 somes teeing off Roadrunner. Went in pro shop asked why there not filling groups up 4 somes with singles waiting to get on? The usual dumb founded look and attitude. Wake up Hogan, golf is in high demand. This city doesn't offer much recreation. Don't make it any more...

My wife, my 10yo son, my 7 month old son,my brother and his wife... the guy asked how many were golfing i told him 3 but we were accompanied buy our wives and my baby boy. I know its not common but hey who cares im paying right...I asked if i could rent a car and he told me no at first and then he finally said i could if i rented golf clubs wich he didnt seem too happy with. Idk why, i spent plenty of money there... then he goes out to the first hole and accused me of getting an extra car wich he found out was false. Then made me move the rental bag to a different car to make it "legal" ..really im not a person to pull the racist card ,but man i have never had someone make me feel that way in my entire life. It was obvious the guy had a problem with me bc ive been there with my other friends (white) and never had him treat us that way before. I always spend $200+ every time i go but i will never be back there again especially not...
