Took a 267# hog on 11/14/23, Recvd text on 11/18/23 to "pick up ASAP" it was done, fee was $120. I went tonight (11/20/23) to pick up. I was puzzled when the girl handed me one bag of meat. I asked, "where's the meat"? She advised that was it. A younger fella came out, we spoke and his response was "I cant explain it, dont know what to tell ya". The charge was $120, he offered it back to me but then told the girl to put my name on the board or something. I insisted he keep the money since this was originally what they deemed fair and were charging me. Also i didnt want my name on some list, not that i'll go back regardless. Ive been using Rocky River for about 5 years, ive never not paid a bill or left them holding any game. Actually ive always had to pay up front a percentage Im still waiting on a deer hide that i paid in advance to have tanned last year or year before for one of my kids, I just figure that ill never see that hide. Been excuses ever since. Lesson learned finally, something is suspicious with this business. I recieved 15.8 pounds of meat off a 267# hog. 1 roast, 3 skimpy loins and 6, 1.5 # bags of sausage. I can provide pics and documentation if anyone is interested. I really hate i spent $7.59 a pound on wild boar meat but hopefully i'll get alot of nourishment out of. I'll just break it out on special occasions, like if we get a new POTUS or...

Read moreReal nice up front, but don't exspect to get back what you take to them. I took a 250 pound bear to be processed into roast and saussage, only got saussage back 32 pounds of it and no roast. When I questioned about it I was told that there wasn't anything big enough to make a roast even though there were two whole hams and two whole back straps and two whole shoulders in the cooler that took two people to carry. Also they broke the lid off of my cooler and tried to say it was like that when I left it there. So to sun it up they stole my meat and broke my cooler called me a lier and didn't give a damn about it. I will also report them to the state meat inspector and the better business .So think twice before you take...
