I am very upset with the lack of respect and humiliation I just received from Lindsey at this dental office. (She is the manager) I came in to ask a few questions because I was referred to this company from my insurance provider. After asking the questions, Lindsey started telling me how what I was requesting was rediculious and with her “20 years of experience” that’s something “she” wouldn’t do. That’s completely fine if you don’t want to, but I’m just asking questions. She saying she had 20 years of experience, is rude, making me feel like I’m lower, and stupid compared to her for asking. Right off, her tone and attitude was horrible and felt embarrassed for even coming in and wanted to leave immediately. Oh, and I’ve already had it done before. And my teeth are fine. It was my fault for walking in and trying to ask advice and try to move my appointment but didn’t know it was going to be that big of a problem or even be treated this way. It was for my wedding and she was beyond hateful, rude and looked like she hated her job. Regardless of how many years you have in a field you don’t treat paying customers like they are idiots. She told me she wasn’t telling me what I wanted to hear. That’s not the case, I’m not a dentist and asked a question about my teeth needs. I will forward the humiltion and service I revieved to my insurance provider and request they stop sending customers to this office. What a bad experience with just trying to ask for help. Customers wondering about Midwest City offices, the other staff seemed nice and I’m sure this isn’t how the dentist wants customers to be treated. However, my experience was horrible and I’m completely humiliated by Lindsey’s actions towards me. It was like she hated me being there. Do research and there are other dentists offices in OKC, MWC that won’t treat you like this. It take $0 to be kind and not degrade customers! I don’t make time to leave reviews unless a business/medical practice exceeds my expectations more than a couple of times. I found myself looking for a Dentist when I moved to the Midwest City area several years ago, and I needed a painful, cracked tooth extracted. After calling around for several days, I found Dr Melanie Emerson and ever since that first visit I found there to be plenty of good reasons to call her my permanent Dentist. She removed my damaged tooth and I’ve been a patient of her practice for 2+ years since then. First off, the office building is new. The facility is beautiful, clean, and has plenty of parking. The location is on E Reno more toward the eastern side of Midwest City just west of Post Road, and it is easy to get into and out of. Secondly, the staff is friendly and caring with a priority on getting their patients in quickly so they can take care of you. If you go in for a routine teeth cleaning the hygienist will perform their duties as expected and make sure you are comfortable throughout. Beneficial services such as Invisalign® might be offered and you have an opportunity to ask questions if you are interested. The Doctor will exam your mouth and consult on necessary procedures if applicable and get you scheduled quickly to make that repair. It’s all done with with a friendly and professional approach in a very clean and welcoming setting. I have never had a conflict with scheduling, and I would recommend you get on her schedule today, too. Let’s face it, most of us don’t run to our dental visits with excitement, but let me tell you that if you need a youthful and experienced dentist who can take care of your smile for many years to come, go see Dr Melanie Emerson.
