I would like to thank the staff at this facility. Yesterday my wife fell and cut her lip and skinned her knees and hands, serious abrasions on her face. The staff jumped into first aid mode and stopped the bleeding. They were knowledgeable and highly skilled in first aid. They demonstrated all that is required in dealing with blood born pathogens. More importantly they were very compassionate and sensitive with her. I promised I would report back to them my wife’s condition. I was so busy yesterday I failed to do that. I hope this review finds them. My wife’s MRI showed all is well! Teeth are ok! She is really sore today, and has an excellent excuse for just eating ice cream. We are truckers passing through and this community around Bloomsburg Pa is a very warm and inviting area. Dave...

I do not like this rest stop. I am a pet owner and a truck driver. I have never seen a rest stop where the only pet area is located on a small patch of ground where its more like trash, brush, muddy creek and no grass is the only area pets are allowed in. Thats not including you are less than 20 feet from the busy high way. Cross your finger you never lose grip of you animal because nothing will stop them from going onto the highway and getting hit. This facility is big and has way more than enough room to make one of the no pet areas (takes up around 80% to 90% of rest stop) a spot for animals. This will be my first and last time I stop here and will not recommend...

Usually PennDot does a relatively good job but they really messed up with this rest stop. First it was bad enough that it's really difficult to sleep here for truckers due to the parking facing directly to the highway, hence all the highway noise. Second, woke up in the morning to use restroom but restrooms were "temporarily closed". And I couldn't drive either due to no HOS. If PennDot expects us to follow the HOS regulations, then they should do their part and at least put up a sign on the interstate notifying drivers what to expect at a...

Clean and we'll maintained rest area located westbound on interstate 80 in Pennsylvania. The entrance ramp driving into the facility will remind you more of a state park than a rest stop. Restrooms are spotless. Picnic facilities are plentiful. The dog walk area is opposite the parking area. All in all it's a great place to get out of your car and stretch your legs. There's a small brochure display and vending machines inside. If you're making a return trip eastbound there's a sister facility directly across interstate 80 that is a mirror of this one.

Stopped here after a few hours of driving west on Route 80. Clean bathrooms and vending machines inside. It does feel quite dated, but for what it is, it's perfect. Looked like there were plenty of picnic tables and shady areas to rest. Lots of garbage cans along the parking area. Good, clean place to stop and stretch before getting back on 80.
