Getaway Tours & Charters Inc. — Local services in Milan

We used Getaway Tours & Charters for a radio broadcasters conference that we held in Adrian, MI. We rented three 55 passenger buses. The buses picked up attendees at their respective hotels, took them to an evening event at Michigan International Speedway and then returned them back to their hotels in Adrian. Our three drivers were all very kind, hospitable and of course, great drivers. They were easy to work with as we needed to make adjustments and they were engaged with our attendees. They were honestly exceptional.

Booking with Cathy was a breeze. She communicated promptly with accurate information and made travel accommodations a simple task. The company is competitive with rates and their buses are incredibly clean and feel like new.

I shopped around and can say that this company exceeded response time, was better priced and was always positive about any changes we needed to make to our original request for buses.

Company bus broke down on the way to our event. Half of our guests were an HOUR AND A HALF LATE. Not only that but the bus driver actually told me to call the company and to leave a message and that they would get back to me with at least an apology and perhaps reissue us money. After leaving the message I had not heard back for a little over a month. When I decided to call the company to see what was going on the lady over the phone wrote my information down and said she would call back the following business day. After about 2 days of not hearing back I decided to call and the company was not apologetic at all, they were very rude over the phone and only wanted to issue back a little less than a 20% credit to their company. Brice from Getaway Tours was on time. The bus was spit spot clean and ready to travel. Our seats were comfortable. Our driver, Bryce. is a bus driver’s driver. His patience, alertness and driving skills made this a safe journey. I appreciated his sense of humor, his experience stories and his all around character.
