The last time I visited it was Charlie Brown's. Today I brought the hubby for the first time and he insisted that we would definitely be back for certain. He loved the idea the old butcher block was converted into a table that he simply had to sit at for our lunch today. Thank you so much for keeping the old time feel and more ....you added a country stage and all for live music every 3rd Saturday of the month even! We are so thrilled to have a sandwich that not only piled on the meat but had the best selections of cheeses served on regular sized bread, for those who do not want to consume a foot worth of carbs with their sandwich. Seeing as we are only 12 miles from you....hubby said we WOULD DEFINITELY BE BACK! We recommend this quaint lil sandwich shop to any passing through or near, especially for lunch time! The very nice people provide old-fashioned delicious sandwiches and other foods and plenty of grocery items. A must stop and visit it's a step in the past. I tried to put 5 stars in but my phone didn't cooperate! The Mildred store is somewhere that everyone should experience! It's a step back in time to be cherished by all who appreciate small town values. Great food, service with a smile, and a feeling of home and family.
