Kountry Kraft Custom Cabinetry — Local services in Millcreek Township

I purchased kitchen cabinets from one of their dealers 20 years ago for over $20,000. The dealer is no longer in business. I called KK up to see if they could send a tech or recommend someone to touch up the custom paint finish around the handle hardware. While they offred at the time a limited life time warranty I was willing to pay for the service. They replied that their tech could not do the work and suggested I look for a furniture refinisher. DUH! It was their cabinets and they put the custom paint finish on them and then they say "We can't help you, find someone who can " However, they were nice enough to say they would be happy to sell me new cabinets. I am a retired paint and wallpaper contractor and I could never replicate the color nor do the refinishing. They have the paint formula and could have charged me a couple of thousand to refinish the cabinets but thy just threw me under the bus. We made the almost 2-hour trip to Newmanstown today and are extremely happy we did. Every single person we encountered there was instantly friendly and helpful. Their sales representative was incredibly patient and helpful as we went from one room to another seeing and feeling countless different samples and asking every question we could think of. We now look forward to enjoying their beautifully constructed and finished cabinets with the exact details that will make us happy for our remaining years (we're finishing our 70s). Recently placed an order for new kitchen cabinets from Kountry Kraft and after a lengthy process we received all the wrong doors. They had a system in place where we had to sign off on a sample door prior to them completing the work which we did. Then once they informed us the cabinets were ready they required payment in full which we did. Once we paid them it sounded like we would get out cabinets immediately but waited a full month. Once they arrived we realized the error on their part. We confirmed our sample door that was signed and sent to them was accurate and did not match what we received. Now being told it will take at least another month to get the correct doors with them offering no compensation for their huge error. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.
