HOLD UP!!! They are going to have the meats you are looking for. From gator to quail. Fresh Turkey wings to cured cooking meat. They are very pricey for the community. The community has supported this grocery store 100 over the years and have feed the McDade's family on their support daily. They need to lower some prices in this place. A person have to know better than to pay some of these prices. I guess it's based on how much one needs it when you cant get to Krogers/Walmart. The fruits and veggies are not fresh!! maybe a new farmer. But then again they may pass the fresh looks to the community. Nevermind! McDade's owner and extention do better and show The community some love as they have shown you. Even if you lower 3 meat items by $.50-1.00 start with the most popluar Those turkey wings and plus GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, They have supported you faithfully. Listen up folks, do you need meats custom cut? Do you have a big party or event coming up? Well Johnnie McDades is the place to go. I've been going there on and off for about 5-10yrs if I remember correctly. Today I just bought a 40lb case of leg/thigh quarters for only $37 & a 40lb case of Whole chicken wings for $99. Good prices as far as I'm concerned & I buy a lot of chicken for my family & i. They also have a massive variety of salted & smoked meats to choose from. The staff is very polite & helpful. The butchers go out of their way to bring your heavier items to the counter & even to your car without asking. I would highly recommend this place if you get a chance to go. Excellent customer service and the best steaks anywhere around! Where else can one go to view your butcher saw your bone-in ribeye from a fresh side of cattle. If you really want a steak and you are going to take the time to cook it yourself, the flavor and quality of the product is undoubtedly worth the trip and the pittance more it may cost (and it often won't).
