My husband was 82nd Airborne 2nd of the 504. He severed our country by jumping out of airplanes. He recently got his disability check from the military and decided to take that money and purchase a motorcycle. He hasn’t had a motorcycle in at least 10 years. He was so excited. My husband doesn’t ask for much and gives to everyone. So him getting this bike meant the world to him. Well being excited we take the bike out on short little rides around town. Well we decided to take the bike out on a long ride to golf shores. Boy was that a mistake. Before we could leave we first had to have a back tire and breaks installed. $600 later we were ready. We get an hour outside of gulf shores and the battery light starts coming on, we start praying we make it to the our destination before we are stuck in the middle of nowhere. God blessed us that day and we made it to a hotel. The next day we get the bike to start and head to Walmart looking for a battery they didn’t have one so we settled for a multimeter and a battery charger $140 later. We come out and the bike doesn’t start: lucky us we are at Walmart. So the really nice guys there allow us to charge our battery we sat there for a few hours. Finally, we get it started and back to the hotel we go. Oh hotel cost $160 We are in gulf shores so lucky us food is close by because as soon as we get it back it dies again. My husband is not a mechanic and it’s Saturday in off season on the beach. Nothing is open to help fix the problem. So we leave the battery on the charge over night. During this time we start calling friends and looking up how to fix the problem. We are 6 hours from home. We have to fix the problem. So we were told we can make it half a day on a full battery. News flash you can’t. My momma was only 3 hours from where we can get my stepdads help. We went 45 mins down the road were we got stuck at a Loves truck stop for 4 hours waiting on AutoZone to bring us a $200 battery. Well we made it an hour and a half from my mommas before we were literally got stuck in the middle of nowhere. Having the closest tow truck 2 hours away. We got lucky, a Good Samaritan stopped and helped tow us to my mommas $100. Where we were able to replace the regulator $80. That didn’t work. We bought a stator $120, But at this point our whole vacation is ruined and we are still broke down. So we rent a UHaul and a trailer $500 and trailered ourselves back home. Now at this point we are scratching our heads trying to figure this out. My husband calls “All things Chrome” not asking for a refund, not asking for a trade, the only thing he was asking for is for someone that knows more about bikes than he does to help point him in the direction. Anything on how to fix the issue. Instead they give him the run around about how it was sold as is. We understand that we are not asking for you to fix anything for free. We are good customers that don’t mind paying and tip well. That includes repairs. To be treated so badly that you make a review just to get told that it’s slander to tell the truth. Then get threatened to be sued. Well bring it on because I know a few lawyers myself that will love to take the case. We are not asking for any money back on the bike (YET!) we are just asking for help. You have mechanics in a shop that that’s there job. Yet, you can’t point someone in the right direction to fix a problem on a bike you sold him. There’s something wrong here. But I know your gonna tell me your gonna tell me next you’ll sue me, or say this is a false review, or maybe even have 30 people come through placing actual fake 5 star reviews to cover up this review. Do your worse. I am screenshooting all of it and calling the better business bureau in the morning. Do better. Oh and I have a marriage license that proves we are legally married. Would you like to...
Read moreThe pics I'm sharing are the rims right from the box, first I will say keeping these rims 100% my fault with all the headache i should have demanded a refund in which i did after a certain point in email but I didnt push hard enough and my bike was down for so long trying to make these wheels work and having the shop I sent the wheels to having to put tires on and so on and so on.The rims do look amazing but,the customer service from this company was very lack luster they might be different in person but my experience was not a good one. Spending 3000. 00 for rims I was expecting better service then what I received and The rims where not perfect powder coating had dark spots and missing spots I was told you won't see the imperfections much when they are mounted,I had to order different rotor bolts due to the holes on the rims where not big enough for my stock rotor bolts. The rear rotor did not fit I had to file new rims in order make my stock rotor fit, also rear rotor holes where not fully tap,so I had to re tap all the holes. They offered to redo powder coating which by the time I would have received them back weeks later I would have had to resend wheels back for all the other issues. Spoke to Darby she is very nice but I called so many times she passed me off to someone else. In the end I received 100 off and fork caps. For the amount of money you are spending you should not have to lift a finger just put...
Read moreJust lost a sale or potentially 2, was looking at buying 2 bikes(which I’m sure they don’t care, seem to be doing well), due to the fact it was insinuated I was a scammer because I asked about paying with a card due to being from out of town and not having a branch here to be able to get cash or cashiers check in a hurry lol. Im sure I could of borrowed the cash from a relative, but I’ve bought a whole car with a my card before so to ask, in my opinion, wasn’t a terrible thing. Oh well, at least you don’t have to worry about me “reversing” anything.
In response to your reply, which completely missed the point obviously so I can see attention to detail isn’t common at this shop. My issue wasn’t that I wasn’t allowed to use a card….the issue was whoever the lady on the phone and HOW she answered this by assuming and calling me a scammer just from a simple question. I’m very aware there is many other methods of payment and I’m sure I could of figured one out, as clearly stated above, until your degrading employee wanted to make assumptions and say I would reverse the payment if they allowed that instead of just saying it can’t be accepted and move on to what could be. Teach your employees how to...
