It was Wednesday and we decided to head north to McDaniel Farms in Millington, MI and look for some annuals and perennials for the yard along with some veggies and fruit .
It was later in the season for flowers and we didn't know what was left. Upon arrival we got a cart and started looking.
There still plenty of both annuals and perennials, but they were out of a lot of flowers. We picked out a variety of flowers from Globe amaranth in a variety of colors to asparagus fern and a few echinacea plants.
As far as other items, we picked up a few tomatoes, basket of strawberries and bag of lettuce.

The gentleman told us to just pick out the brown and dead leaves and it'll bounce back. We'll it died and was extremely brittle after 4 days. We tried getting a refund or exchange for it, and they told us because theirs are alive in their greenhouse, they wouldn't refund or exchange. Read moreWell......driving by and saw the awesome pumpkins, etc., so stopped in. Grabbed one item I needed, and got in line behind four other people. After waiting about 5 minutes, two of the four people put their items down, and left. Another few minutes passed, and one more person left. All the while, the employee (I think was the owner) was picking thru tomatoes, trying to find quality ones, for a bushel basket, for a customer. No other help around whatsoever!
