A few weeks ago my family went camping an hour north of milo.. this Friday it was downpours out bad. So when we got to our campsite we realized that we had forgot our tent pools... it was 4pm at that moment. Well I jumped in the car and we flew to this hardware store an hr away from the camp site.. we get to this hardware store just as they were about to lock up for the night.... I explained my situation and the gentleman behind the counter offered to just give me a broken frame from a pop up canopy they had out back.. which was nice to offer but I told them I will just by a new tent... ended up buying 2 tents and my weekend with the family was saved.... so to those two gentleman I tip my hat to you cause that was great service...

They treat you like family every time you step in there. I love just walking around the store, and checking out all that they have to offer. I love the selection of household goods that they have, especially the clay crocks, and Lodge cast iron. Read moreI would only suggest going here if you are in a serious bind. They have pretty much everything you need but their prices are absolutely the highest ive ever seen in my life. I understand a small markup but they mark up their stuff 300 to 500 % percent which is absurd. Maybe if their prices were better i would shop there more often and they probably would have way more business from everyday people. Dont take advantage of your customers because you know they need something in your store and they dont feel like driving to Bangor. This isnt Boston where people dont care about spending ...
