Where to even begin? Five stars may be the highest rating, but even that seems inadequate for Emily. From the very beginning she was so easy to work with and just an all around straight up good, honest human. When I initially came to her, I had a set budget and was nervous that it didn’t quite match the extravagant floral vision I had in mind. She respected this and never pushed for more, working with me to find ways to be budget friendly (like substituting higher end real flowers for faux in the larger pieces) while still carrying out my vision. As a way to stay within budget, I opted to design our aisle and reception tablescapes - she was supportive and never made me feel like I had to use her services for these items, or that I was “less than” for opting for DIY for some areas of our big day.

On the morning of the big day, Emily managed to perform literal magic. That’s the only way I can really, truly describe it. An avid peony lover, I was aware that it was unrealistic to have peonies in my September wedding in Vermont and was fully prepared to have them missing from my bouquet and have faux peonies in the larger pieces she had designed as we had agreed on. Coming downstairs to see REAL, lush peonies not only in my bouquet, but also in the larger pieces she designed for our weekend, just about moved me to tears. I don’t know how she managed to get my favorite flower here for our wedding weekend (and not charge us an arm and a leg in the process), but I’m so grateful that she pulled off this tiny miracle. Peonies aside, she was also able to tie in several luxurious high-end varieties to make our all-white palate feel more diverse. From the peonies to the sweet peas to the ranunculus, and all the other white flowers in between, her designs coordinated perfectly with our DIY white rose-lined aisle and helped make my wildest white wedding dreams come true.

The worst wedding vendor I have ever experienced. I decided to DIY the majority of my flowers, but purchased my bridal bouquet from Tipsy Tulip. I booked with them months in advance and sent multiple inspiration photos and looked at the bouquets on their website. It was expensive ($371) but we decided it was worth it to have the perfect bouquet.

The bouquet I received was tiny, dead, and crushed. It was less than half the size of the bridal bouquets on Tipsy Tulip’s website and looked nothing like what I requested. I saw it on the counter in the bridal suite and genuinely thought it was just old dried flowers left there for decoration. They looked terrible and they were the same size as my DIY bridesmaid bouquets. My fiancé gifted me a bouquet from Shaws that morning that looked 10x better.

My mom called the owner of the company and the owner was incredibly rude. She said she could come at 2pm (this was at 8am, and our photos were at 12:30pm). Or she would give us a refund and come take the flowers, leaving me with no bouquet. She refused to speak to my bridesmaids on the phone and stopped answering phone calls. She argued with my mother on the phone. Then she argued with me, the BRIDE, on my wedding day. She was incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing. She would not come to the venue to fix my flowers, but did send someone to try to come take my bouquet. Thankfully she did give me a refund.

My bridesmaids ended up going to another local florist and picked up a STUNNING bouquet for half the price. It was exactly what I wanted and literally three times the size of what I received from Tipsy Tulip.

My experience with Emily from Tipsy Tulip exceeded every expectation when working with a wedding vendor. She was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to bring my wedding vision to life. I feel like I know nothing about flowers and she helped educate me to make sure that I was well informed and knew what my tablescapes and bouquets would look like before they arrived.

The flowers exceeded every expectation that I had on my wedding day. They were absolutely stunning and people still comment on how beautiful our wedding day was due to the centerpieces and wedding florals. I photograph a lot of weddings on the weekends and truly believe that Emily is the top of the game when it comes to a wedding florist. Every single time that the florals leave you stunned in your tracks, it is Emily’s work with the help of her team. I’ve never seen a wedding flowered by this vendor that wasn’t straight out of a magazine and stunningly beautiful.

Aside from her amazing skill set as a floral artist, she is incredibly kind, hard-working and cares deeply about helping her clients be happy with their final product. She answered every email promptly, got on every call ins timely fashion and answered every question very thoroughly. She was very helpful , sincere and made me feel like she really cared about us as a couple and being part of this special day.
