We went in on Saturday with a large group and right away the lady (whom I found out was part owner) was completely annoyed with our group, told us we could not sit by the fire pit, we could NOT order the sampler and did not offer menu. She said she needed to know we were coming and the person who set it up said he called several times days in advance to tell them about the LARGE group and no one returned the call. Bottom line, HORRIBLE customer service. Who would not be happy to make $$$$$$$$ on a large group? I found out several people were so turned off by the RUDE behavior of the co-owner that when she came to take their order they said, "No thank you we have two other winery's and we will order from there. I've visited several wineries in the region and found the ambience, selection and hospitality that Morgan Creek offers to be absolutely exemplary. The award-winning wine selection pairs beautifully with the fresh, delicious menu that features local artisan breads and fresh herbs and cheeses. The creek and the grounds provide a glorious setting for an afternoon outside, either under the oak tree, or picnicking on the hill. Evenings around the fire-pit are great too! For the most part you eat here for the ambiance, the secluded peacefulness, beautiful landscaping, music, and the wine. If you are looking for a filling meal I would suggest somewhere else. Pizzas are quite small but are very tasty and will cost around eight dollars. I highly suggest ordering the Picnic Half-Loaf, which is around ten dollars, in which you get a fresh loaf of bread with some spread and slices of meat which is quite a nice sharable. Any non-alcoholic drinks are also quite expensive. A tiny lavender lemonade costs four dollars, and water may also run you the same as they only provide bottled water.
