Such a cool experience!

I booked with Brett and Britney to stay in an Ice Castle on Lake Minnetonka with my brother, cousin, and father. We had an excellent experience! All of us fish often from spring through fall but not a ton of ice fishing, I think that may change but only if we are staying with the REL team.

Brett was great about getting us set up, making sure we had bait and the tools to be successful. If we needed anything at all, Brett or Britney would be out there helping with little downtime. Britney even lent us one of the rods and fishing set-ups that she'd been very successful with lately which was great. Our group essentially limited out on Crappie which were our target fish, and we also got the chance to see a large Musky that was swimming around the bay we sat on.

The ice house was exactly what was advertised, comfortable for four adults, warm, and bigger than it looks on the outside. We fished in negative degree weather and had zero issues staying warm.

I couldn't recommend the experience more. It is definitely worth checking out if you're a beginner fisherman or an expert, the experience is second to none. I hope to book again moving ahead next year and bring some friends...

Britany took us on a guided fishing trip at Lake Minnetonka from 5pm to 9pm. In the four hours of our trip, she took us to several different spots on the lake and we ended up catching about 20 fish in total between pike and bass (didn’t keep all of course). She effectively and enthusiastically taught us some great techniques for improving our odds of catching fish, taught us how to read the topographical and fish finding maps on her Hummingbird monitors, baited our hooks, netted our catches, and taught us how to properly hold fish to keep from damaging their gills and bones. Britany engaged us in great conversation and gave us a lot of great insight on to how the different fish react to getting hooked including how pikes dive and bass fight. Outstanding service and excellent results. We greatly appreciate the trip and highly recommend using Britany for your guided fishing trips....

10 out of 10! It was our first time ice fishing (and most of us never tried fishing ever) and we're so glad that we chose Rel Fishing! The ice house was warm and super clean, great for 4 people, and has every fishing equipment you'll need! Brit and Brett are so nice and professional, they helped us set up the underwater cam and flasher and showed us how to use them, and checked on us several times. We ended up catching 9 fish from a half-day trip!!! (we're so glad cuz our goal was just to catch something) Huge thanks to Brit and Brett, it was an awesome experience and we'll definitely come back to catch more fish with you! Just one suggestion to beginners like us: come during late afternoon or evening, there were a lot more...
