Why is this place so awesome?!It is actually a smaller scale chocolate factory where you can watch them make the chocolates and candy through windows in all the walls! The selection is not huge, but it is wide enough to satisfy any craving: nuts, creams, caramels, pecan and caramel, gummies and more. They even have giant Easter eggs filled with pieces of their candy inside...so unique! The 1/2 lb and 1 lb boxes of chocolates are resonably priced. I tried the creams and I must say the flavor is excellent! The chocolate is not overbearingly sweet or too 'chocolatey' that it overshadows the filling. The creams I had were raspberry, orange, and vanilla and they were perfectly balanced in taste. The woman behind the register greeted us immediately and was very friendly and helpful thru our entire visit. This is a place you definitely need to visit - dont miss out! Be aware though, they do close during the warmer months right after Easter, but open in the Fall with caramel apples. I for one...

Minonk Chocolate Company has always been a big part of the community and they have a great staff. Always going out of their way to help you out! I always find myself stopping by just to say hi, or that’s what I tell myself so I can buy more treats! Which are all great quality and depending when you stop in, you can even see it all being made! BEST CHOCOLATE EVER! My dad grew up in Minonk, so every holiday my grandparents would give the grandkids whips. That was always the highlight! Everytime we go, we have to stock up, as I don't live in the area anymore. I have gotten my boyfriend hooked on this chocolate as well. Everytime I come down for a visit (when the store is open/in season), we always make it a priority to stop in. Of course everytime, my dad runs into someone he knows.
