Three Rivers Rest Area Eastbound — Local services in Minooka

Clean and well stocked bathrooms with hot water and blow dryers awaited me in the ladies room. The men’s room was not as nice. The handicapped stall was out of order, and the toilet seat looked dirty in the stall my husband used.

Vending machines worked and we had lots of food and drink choices. There are four working pay phones - 2 inside and 2 outside - if you don't have a cell phone. An employee was here, cleaning the windows of the entrance/exit doors. She was also cleaning the ledges. There are also informational displays and complimentary maps inside.

Outside are beautiful flowers, and recycling bins. You will find lots of parking, and seating outside, by the pay phones and flagpole. If you want to picnic, covered shelters are nearby. There is also a play area for children, past the bathroom/vending machine area. This is a mostly clean,...

The place was clean it smelled nice I was so impressed I sort out the gentleman that was the janitor and I said great job I am so proud to see people taking pride in their work and the service of work that they do servicing people the quality of service I am speechless I Come From New York you could never ever find a place like that in New York they would have to keep 40 guys on and one person is doing it thank you...

This is a pretty nice rest area that also is rather newer. It has a bit of history inside so that's a nice touch. It gives you a little something to do if you are looking to spend a little extra time outside of your vehicle in order to straighten your legs.
