Hi there- I wished to provide some feedback on my experience in terms of the risk of your business spreading covid and regarding a good allergy issue. I came in today to get dinner to go and asked for gluten free options. When I ordered the fish tacos, your staff did not notify me that they had flour tortillas in them. I then reordered and watched your wait staff with the same gloves, take my credit card touch the counters and then deliver food to another customer with those same gloves. Meanwhile some had their masks down around their necks and a group of servers was huddled together at the counter. I was shocked, as these are all ways of easily spreading COVID-19. I then politely shared my observation with your staff who did not take my feedback. I realize that this situation is difficult but it’s unsanitary to wear the same gloves while processing many customers orders. I rarely use this platform for reviews but felt compelled to share this with the broader community as a means to prevent a food allergy situation or covid spread. My family has been regular customers at the Trough for many years and had many wonderful meals. Today however was a very different experience. We arrived early as a party of six and were the only customers there. The waitress greated us took our orders and seemed pleasant. It was downhill from there on out. We did not receive any water after asking. The food arrived cold and flavorless. We had to request coffee refills three times which never came . Being told each time they had "run out" after seeing other tables getting coffee. Honey and more hot water for the tea came at the end of the meal. The table was not bused and we had to clear a spot on the table for gifts as we were celebrating a birthday. When receiving the check the waitress had a very negative ,short attitude as if we had done something wrong. Nothing had been said to her about our tremendous dissapointment in our meal. We were looking forward to a nice , delicious brunch for our family celebration and left feeling hungry and like we never want to go back!!!! Extremely poor service, cold , flavorless food ,needless to say we won't be back! Would give zero stars...

We love this place. They have a newly added cover for their patio area. It was always a bit to hot in summer, but spring and summer were always nice for sitting outside. Of course, now summer can be your outside pleasure too. No getting a sunburn while eating that delicious burger. 😉

Save room for dessert folks their lava cake is a taste buds party 🥳 🎉 🎂 🥮

Their little convenience store next door is great too. Eat and then pick up those items your wife or hubby sent...
