Did you know that Utah has 43 state parks many of which rival the beauty and diversity of some of our national parks? 🦮 As an added bonus you can bring your dog on leash if you have one. Just verify the areas and trails they are permitted as they vary by park. SAVE to plan your visit to the best Utah State parks for hiking adventures (I’ll share a few favorite hikes for each) ⭐️Pro Tip: If you plan on visiting multiple sate parks consider buying an annual pass. No matter what time you buy the annual pass it always expires on the 31st of that year. Each state park has a different entry fee and at a whopping $125 four residents and $175 for non residents make sure to evaluate how often and how many parks you will visit to get the best deal. 📍Snow Canyon 🥾Petrified Dunes, Lava tubes and Butterfly loop 🥾Scout Cave 🥾Snow Canyon Overlook 📍Antelope Island Known for its free-roaming bison herd, incredible sunsets over the Great Salt Lake 🥾Frary Peak 🥾Dooley Knob 🥾Lakeshore Trail Loop 📍Dead Horse Point Close to Canyonlands National Park, it shares similar views 🥾Dead Horse Rim Loop 🥾Big Horn Overlook 🥾Colorado River Overlook Kodachrome Basin 67 stone spires and multihued sandstone layers. Unfortunately, Shakespeare Arch pictured in this real collapsed in April of 2019 🥾Panorama Trail 🥾Angel’s Palace 🥾Grand parade Goosenecks The view of the Goosenecks are reminiscent of Horse shoe bend without the red rock 🥾Goosenecks viewpoint trail ⛺️Great Camping sites Coral Pink Sand Dunes 🥾Coral Pink Sand Dunes Trail Also try our sledding or boarding on the dunes Goblin Valley 🥾Goblin’s lair 🥾Goblin Valley Trail 🥾Carmel Canyon Trail Have you visited any of these state parks? Which do you want to visit next? Remember to Leaving No Trace means packing out all trash and waste including Grier peels. Not carving on trees or rocks, staying on established trails. #utahstateparks #utahhikes #hikingutah #roadtrip #utahroadtrip #findyourpark #idhikethat #hikingbangers

You can see salt ponds, Moab and La Sal Mountains Snowy...

Beautiful viewpoint not too far from Moab, very similar views to the Grand Canyon! It wasn’t too crowded when we went, even with a wedding taking place. The history of it’s name is interesting but sad if you read about it in the brochure. It’s located in a state park so there’s a $20 entrance fee...
