Battleship Gift Shop — Local services in Mobile

The park was amazing. My son and I were really looking forward to visiting the gift shop to purchase some souvenirs. We were almost finished with our battleship tour when we hear over the loud speaker at 4:00PM that the gift shop was now closed. We thought we misheard, so we rushed to the gift shop only to find a locked door and a sign on the door that states that it closes at 4. There was no other sign or warning anywhere so of course we assumed that it closed the same time as the park, 5PM. There were so many cute items in this gift shop. We stopped at the shop before viewing the battleship by accident. We were looking for tickets.

I'm happy we did stop though. We were able to get a good idea of what we wanted to take home for gifts. Naturally we picked up a few extra items but that happens.

The staff is quite cordial and welcoming. They acknowledged us immediately both times that we entered. And it wasn't the same person.

UPDATE: THE MANAGERS IN THE GIFT SHOP WERE GREAT TO WORK FOR. THE UPPER MANAGEMENT, PAM JEFFCOAT, HAS NO PROBLEM WITH WOMEN BEING ABUSED BY THEIR HUSBAND. SHE FIRED SOMEONE BECAUSE SHE NEEDED AN EXTRA DAY OFF TO PROCESS IN THE DOMESTIV VIOLENCE SHELTER. WHEN THE SUPEEVISORS APPROVED IT, PAM JEFFCOAT TOLD THEM TO FIRE THIS WOMAN. TRUE STORY.
