Pulled into the parking lot at 7:45am one morning to wait for my husband to bring my 10 year old sons pencil pouch that he had left at home before school( he attends Eichold-Mertz Magnet). This older man in a white pick up truck starts screaming at us that we are on private property and we have no business there. Thankfully, my husband pulled up as he was screaming at us because he scared my son to death. What is the most disturbing, to me, is that we loved going to Toomeys to buy Gifts for our friends and for our PTO. The employees have always been very friendly, but when I looked up the owners of Toomeys to let them know of this experience, I saw that the OWNER was the crazy man that screamed at us. My Son is in the Mobile area with the fair that is in town. The response to his merchandise has been amazing to the point where he needed to restock and couldn’t wait for his normal supplier to ship.
