My husband and I brought our calves to sell. I waited all day to see them, then they started going through the ring and after about 2/3 of my calves went through they started with another bunch. So I left the ring to ask where the rest of my calves were and they told me they were lined up to go. So I head back to the ring and they start selling mine again when a calf comes in with a broken leg. I stopped The sale to tell them that calf didn't leave my place that way so I no sale the calf. They tried to give me every brush off on this calf. Saying it came off the truck that way, it was an old injury, etc. they wouldn't cover the calf with their insurance and the people were extremely rude to me. They had no documentation that the calf came off the truck hurt and they were accusing me of being a bad person because I wasn't trusting them that the calf was brought to them that way off my ranch! So I was supposed to eat it when my calves weren't brought through together and I had to eat it when my calf broke a leg at their sale barn.
