Brittany is a miracle worker! She has trained our family to work with our energetic Golden Retriever Barlow to increase positive behaviors such as walking softly on his leash (heel), sitting quietly when guests arrive (place), and decrease lunging, leash biting, pulling, jumping, barking and counter surfing. Brittany’s instruction is clear and easy to follow steps and practice after Barlow came home. She provides reinforcing directions as well as brilliant suggestions for leashes, collars, and tools.

Barlow is calmer, happier and more mentally stimulated and so are we! Brittany is very creative and uses a variety of techniques to address each need whether it be to teach standard activities such as downs and stays or to address unwelcome behaviors such as jumping on people. She can identify the cause(s) of a behavior so as to more specifically pinpoint the solution(s) which is different in every dog and breed. But if one exercise isn't effective, she immediately moves on to another. Throughout it all, she provides detailed commonsense rationales of the activities. And as typical with puppies and young dogs, our dog's behaviors, and our needs, seem to change on the fly.

Brooklyn, one of 2BK9’s trainers grew so fond of Barlow and the love was felt from miles away while having Barlow at training for a whole month with them! This was just such a positive experience for our entire family. We have been to trainers elsewhere before, and there is just so many unspeakable positive differences in 2BK9’s training methods.

Last but not least, Brittany obviously enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with Barlow. She's upbeat, never discouraged, and projects joy in helping us shape our pup Barlow into a responsible adult dog while fully enjoying all the silliness of his goofy ways.

I would HIGHLY recommend 2BK9 ( Ms Brittany). I am from San Antonio, TX and actually purchased my Dutch Shepherd / Malinois puppy (7 months old) from a breeder close to 2BK9. Ms Brittany actually drove over and picked up my pup and boarded her for a couple weeks prior to starting her Obedience Training. Ms Brittany was in contact with me prior to picking up my pup and the entire time she was in training giving me updates and advising me what I needed to purchase when I picked her up (Crate, leash, etc) and things I needed for the house when I brought her home. Ms Brittany then sent me videos I needed to watch prior to picking her up. I flew out and rented a SUV and went by Cabela’s to pick up the crate, and doggy toys, etc for the road trip home. I spent two days learning hands on from Ms Brittany. She told me what training I needed to continue and what training I needed to learn to progress my pup further. Those two days were the best spent time I could have invested because it set us up for success. My pup did great on the two day trip back to San Antonio. We had a couple issues with my pup getting acclimated with our other dog and I reached out to Ms Brittany and she responded immediately giving me advice / tips on what to do and it immediately changed my pups behavior. I know I can contact her with any issue and she will respond with her expert advice. She is always available and very professional. It is like we are all family in a sense. Before 2BK9 our Mabel was a handful. Running away, not listening, and we were overwhelmed with how to help her. I spoke to Brittany on the phone for over an hour about my concerns, and she was able to answer every single question I had and made me feel extremely comfortable. We boarded Mabel for a month for her to train her. Never was I left out in the dark, I knew exactly where she was in her training process from the constant photos and videos I received from her. We even had 2 separate videos to ensure we were implementing the training the way Mabel had learned it. After we took Mabel home we were full of questions, never once was she not quick to answer those for us. After 2 years she is still the first one I reach out to if I ever have a question or problem with my dog. She has given us a happier life, with Mabel being trained I never have to worry about how she will act in public, she now goes everywhere with us. Brittany has given us so much, and I cannot imagine life before her help, if you have a dog I HIGHLY AND ONLY recommend 2BK9. She is the best at what she does and my family and I are forever grateful!!!
