Pudding Ridge Golf Course — Local services in Mocksville

I’m shocked and in utter disbelief about how horrible the staff and owners behavior was when we tried to play today. My father is 79 and my Mom is 77. Mom had a stroke 17 years ago and my Dad has been taking care of her ever since. Our 4 some included myself, my father, my 16 year old daughter and my 20 year old son. My Father wanted to play with his grand children. We needed an extra cart so that my Mom could ride with my Dad. The pro shop attendant told us, after we paid that “we aren’t a spectator course” we are a golf course. You can only have 2 carts and in no way wanted to accommodate my handicapped mother and allow her to ride even though we offered to pay for a cart fee or rider fee for her. I even offered to have one of my children to walk, however he told us they couldn’t and that it was the owners rules and “this conversation was over”. I tried everything possible to amend the situation, however the attendant in the pro shop said, I tell you what, “I’ll refund your money and none of you can play here”. I’ve never been spoken to like that in my life. It’s important to note that all of us are single digits and my father just wanted to play with his grandchildren. This place is an abomination, and anyone who reads this should boycott it. This is as professional as I can make this review as I’m really, really angry. This was an absolute horrific experience. Please don’t go play...

The Man named WHITT in the golf shop is the rudest golf attendant I've ever met. I actually know the family of the owners of this course, The owners son in law and I went to college together, he will be getting a call as well. We booked a tee time thru GOLF NOW, a popular website for booking times, we arrived a bit early, and were told we had to wait until 5 min before our tee time before we could even load the cart??? Because of the time we booked he could not let us go early, I understand that...but to tell us we cant even load up our gear on a cart before the tee time...come on man....He proceed to say that the golf course did not get any money through golf now ...and I asked why they were listed on their site and he said if it were up to him they would not be....Again I promised him not to go out on the course before our tee time...but wanted to load up.....he said if I asked him again...I could not play at all.....HORRIBL EXPIERENCE for A MOM N POP Golf course on a old dairy farm.......JOSH....Talk to your MOM in LAW....THIS MAN IS RUDE AND HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...........HORRIBLE REPRESENTATION OF WHAT SHOULD BE A PLEASANT TIME........GOLFER BEWARE...

Thought this was a pretty nice course when I came here the first time even though I thought it was weird the parking lot was dead for a very pretty Sunday morning. My kids have started showing a lot of interest in golf lately and I have been bringing them along with me for that reason. Made a foursome for this Sunday morning 7/11/21 showed up went to pay and informed the man behind the counter to charge me for an extra cart. At this point the man's tone completely changed as he seemed offended i would even ask such a thing and was very unprofessional to say the least. I told him I understood that there would be an extra charge for the cart but he wasn't having it. Told me that my 2 kids would have to ride where they could which anybody that has been on a cart with two people 2 bags and gear knows that's not going to work. I've never had this problem at a course anywhere and you would think if it wasn't a problem at a nicer course that was actually busy then it wouldn't be a problem at a cheaper course with a half empty parking lot at least 40 carts sitting right outside the door. My kids fortunately didn't have to witness this transaction and I will...
