This is a small county Park well off the beaten path. It is Rich with history from the early 1900's when there was a full resort built around the mineral spring. The spring is still there but the only original construction I found was some steps next to the spring. The water in the spring is effervescent and tastes somewhat salty. Not a something you would want to fill your water bottle up with. Though apparently when the resort was there it was bottled and sold for drinking. There are some picnic tables around in some well kept grounds but no playgrounds for the kids. The only restroom is a portable outhouse but it was well maintained. The biggest attraction to this location was how quiet it was! If someone needed to escape for a while and get away from noise, this...

A small, well-kept, quiet county park with a small mineral spring protected by a gazebo. The mineral spring waters come up through a small well protected by a rock pedestal, with a wooden deck built around it. It's possible to fill up small bottles via the well. The water has a very strong mineral taste. Only room for about 4-5 cars in the parking area. Wheelchair accessible via the wide path. Porta-potty. A few places for curious kids to get down to the creek and dabble their toes in the water, otherwise not many activities or trails. Caretaker's cabin nearby. Very interesting history to this place. It's hard to imagine a large resort in the area of...

I have literally driven past this place my entire life going out to my grandparents probably a thousand times now. There is an intense amount of history there that I have never known about, thank you to whoever decided this was a part of history...

Cool place! Great for a nice picnic. Has a unique feature I'm that it has a naturally occurring soda spring. Tastes like Alka seltzer but hear it can taste sweet sometimes too. Beware massive cell phone hole in the area. Needs some benches.

Maybe not the world's biggest park, but great if you need a relaxing breath of fresh air. Not a lot of parking so if you're having a family event or picnic some people may have to park on the street. Can't wait to visit this quiet place again.
