I'm pretty sure no one working there spoke English, so be prepared for a language barrier. The store isn't dirty, just run down and cluttered. That said, it has everything you need for refreshment on a scorching West Texas day, and is much better than nothing (which is what it's surrounded by for miles in every direction). Give 'em a try.

This store is very small with cramped isles and looks outdated, both inside and out (it's looked the same for all 32 years of my life). It does have most of what you need for day to day living in a small community or if just passing through (breakfast burritos, chips, breads, some veggies and fruits, dairies, drinks, pastries, etc.), but the prices are a little steep. You'll be paying for the owners trips to the nearest city to stock up.

Warning!! The outside does not have a lot of parking and is off the highway. This means come closing time for other businesses (gas/oilfield related jobs) the road is teeming with traffic and this store gets swamped with customers. Before the speed limit was slowed down to 65mph, this had caused a lot of accidents and near accidents in the past with cars and trucks off the highway driving 75mph and cars backing up partly into the highway and not being able to see what's coming up behind them. Be careful if you stop here.

If I was rating this store based solely on it's representation and not with my sentimentality, I'd give it three stars. But despite my mostly negative review, this store had served the community for 30+ years as it's only store (there's another one now) and has helped quench young kids thirst with Cokes and Gatorade and hunger with hamburgers and Hot Cheetos throughout the years. I am adding another...

Mr. Robert has a real nice old school store, with shelves packed full of goods. I worked out here a couple of years ago a ran across this place by chance. He has the best homemade burritos and tamales in the area. The first thing I did when I came back out here was hit him up and bought $100.00 worth. We stock up and freeze the bean, steak& bean, burger & potato and asadero & green chili burritos. Oh yeah, did I mention the perfectly spiced pork tamales? Real nice man! Runs a clean store! You must stop in if your working in the area! You...

A mini Walmart small but packed with any and everything from arrowheads to produce. Large assortment of COLD beer there burritos are the best in a 30 mile range. If you need it they have it. Does have public accessible bathrooms. The place is not ADA I suitable do to cluster of goodies. But you can go in with wheelchair and they will grab whatever you need. Extremely helpful and friendly. Did I mention there #texaslotery selection. Remember travel smart, eat great, feel good and regret never! Enjoy life and give me...
