Ward County Golf Course — Local services in Monahans

I’m only giving them one star because I can’t post a review without at least one! The most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered at a coarse. We brought our 65 year old mom out to be a spectator and the Marshall followed us around the coarse to make sure she wasn’t playing. We payed for 18 with 4 green fees and 3 carts. $150 in total. T time was at 5 we were at hole 15 when the Marshall approached us yet again and said they were closing at 7:30… closing time is dusk or 8:30 whichever comes first. Not...

All and all a good, enjoyable course. Green fees are fair. The greens and fairways could have been in a little bit better shape but it was August in West Texas so I’m sure it’s a challenge to maintain under the conditions. Staff and other players were very friendly. The Monahans High School golf team was there practicing. They were very well behaved and respectful on the course. I would be happy to play here again...

This is a very decent course! The staff is friendly, and great to deal with. I just did 9 holes, and had a cart with rented clubs. They only had one set of lefty rentals, so I used the rights. The golf cart was good, but the cart path was a little rough, and mostly gravel. The fairways were decent, and the greens were nice. It was a good course to shack the cobwebs off. I'll be back for...
