Worst place to live ever!!! First off the traffic is really bad. Drivers are rude and so are the surrounding neighbors. You got your dog poop people throwing bags of doo on your property and creepy stalkers following you or gawking at you. Those kind look for the opportunity to bother you. Then you have the nosey neighbors who want to get into your business so they have something to gossip about with all the other neighbors. Then you have the neighbor that shouts expletives at you bc they didn't like your dog pooping on their lawn even though you tell them you'll pick it up. Then there's the slap stick houses, I call them bc they’re slapped together and you hope they stick! We recently got a new AC system and when the guys went into the attic to check out the system they saw that there was no switch to stop any possible overflow which is a code violation. Something the inspector should have caught. It makes me wonder how many other houses have this and other code violations. It makes me wonder how many overlooked code violations are in and on my house. If we hadn't gotten a new AC, it makes me wonder when would the damage been done to our roof bc of this code violation? And since the time has expired from the warranty we can't hold these people accountable. Funny how they planned it that way. The so called guard house is a joke. There is no one "guard" so whoever is there determines whether to let people in without checking with the residents first. Supposedly, you're to call the guard house and alert them of any visitors or deliveries, but no one does that. So the "guard" that wants you to alert them gets frustrated if you don't do this. It's quite the circus and annoying! The gate is a farce. Anyone can get in by just following behind another vehicle. It happens all the time and supposedly someone got in that was pretending to be some sort of inspector, but turned out to be casing the neighborhood. It's not that safe here. Then you have the drivers that chase after you if they don't like the way you drive. It happened to me three times so what I did was make them follow me around and around until they gave up. It was fun and they are so stupid! Flooding is a serious issue here. It has flooded three times since the building of the houses and those who are on the low end of the streets get it the worst. We are fortunate in that we are on a more elevated area so we don't get it into our house. But we still end up trapped for days on end until the water recedes. As I said it's the worst place ever to live in many respects. The weather in South Carolina is one of the worst in the nation. We spend most of our time in doors and only go out if necessary. When the time comes we're moving back to the Central Coast, CA. It's cool and beautiful out there and getting out of the house is a pleasure. I can't wait!!! Live anywhere else, but in these communities. You'll be...

It's hard to believe folks, but right here, where the flag should be flying highest, it seems that some folks have lost sight of what makes America great. What kind of disgraceful situation has developed that we cannot even celebrate our nation's birthday properly?
At the heart of the matter is the community pool, an institution that should be a bastion of community spirit and family fun. But instead, it's been turned into a desolate wasteland, a no-kid zone, right in the midst of our Independence Day festivities. Why? Because kids can’t swim when visiting their grandparents on July 4th weekend because “it’s not a holiday weekend.” They said THIS IS NOT A HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!
When did we become a country that keeps children away from their grandparents on July 4th, all because of some overly bureaucratic pool policy? Our ancestors didn't fight for our freedom just so bureaucrats could deny our kids a cooling splash with their elderly loved ones on the hottest days of the year.
The decision to close off this pool to children during this crucial weekend is a slap in the face to the principles that make America the greatest nation on Earth. The joy of our kids, the wisdom of our seniors, and the bonds they form are the bedrock of our society. Blocking these precious moments is a betrayal of our values.
We've been through so much over the past years, and now this? Denying our children a chance to create lasting memories with their grandparents at the pool on the 4th of July weekend? It's truly shameful, folks.
Whoever's behind this decision clearly doesn't understand the spirit of America, and they need to take a good, hard look at what they've done. In this country, we put our people first, our families first, and our freedom first. It's high time the community’s pool management remembered that.
Let's get the kids back in the pool, folks. After all, that's what our forefathers would have wanted. This is America, and on Independence Day of all days, we deserve better. Let's make our pool...
Read moreIn a community that beats with the hearty pulse of patriotism, where the red, white, and blue fly with proud resolve, it's difficult to swallow the bitter pill that is our community’s pool this Independence Day weekend.
Our pool, a landmark that should stand as a symbol of community unity and family joy, has instead become a deserted landscape. Inexplicably, during this historic weekend, our city's children are barred from its welcoming waters. And for what? Some misguided policy?
Where has the American spirit gone, the spirit that values family, community, and freedom above all else? How could we have veered so far from our path, that children are kept from their grandparents' company, denied the cherished memories they could be making on this special day?
The decision to prohibit children from accessing the pool during this important weekend strikes a blow against the very principles that make our nation remarkable. This decision blocks the laughter of our youth, the shared wisdom of our elderly, and the irreplaceable bonds that form between them - bonds that strengthen the backbone of our American society.
This situation is not just a missed opportunity for family fun; it's a direct affront to our values. We've persevered through trials and tribulations as a nation, always emerging stronger and more united. How then can we now deny our children the opportunity to create indelible memories with their grandparents at the pool on the 4th of July weekend? This, folks, is a true letdown.
Whoever orchestrated this decision has lost sight of the American spirit, and it's time they remember what we stand for. In our great nation, we prioritize our people, our families, and above all, our freedom. The pool management needs a reminder of these fundamentals.
Let the children's laughter fill the air again. Our forefathers envisioned a free, united, and joyful nation, and it's high time we honor that vision. This Independence Day, let's reclaim our pool, and let's stand together to remind everyone what it truly means to be...
