An inhumane sweatshop that treats their employees like disposable machines.
This gigantic building full of people performing physical labor has minimal air conditioning, and most departments don’t even have ceiling fans so there’s even less air flow. It’s always hot and humid, made even worse by such a physically demanding job.
They are obsessed with how quickly you can perform your job. I work in packing, we are expected to pack 227 items per hour (individual items, not complete boxes). That’s approximately 3 items per second. The starting rate was only 150, but they keep pushing it higher and higher and setting their own employees up for failure. And they WILL hold you to that ridiculous standard. I was written up for only being 85% to rate. 85% of 227 is not good enough for these people.
Everything single you do is recorded by your workstation down to the last second. This includes leaving your station for something like using the bathroom. I once had a manager come up to me and complain that I was TWO MINUTES late getting back from lunch. When I told them it was because I use the bathroom after break, they told me not to do that. I’m not exaggerating. This company penalizes its employees for their bodily functions.
We get two 30 minute breaks every day. That may sound fine, but BOTH breaks count for travel time. So in the time it takes to leave my station, go through security, get to my locker, grab my belongs, and then go back to my locker considerably cuts down on my actual break time. Our “thirty minute” break often ends up being half that time, if not less.

Read moreI'm a tour ambassador so I guess I'm a little biased however, I've never had anyone say they didn't like the tour. Once it's underway we take you from start to finish of how we process your order once you hit that "buy it now" button. Takes approximately 1 hour but can take longer with large groups due to all the questions which we welcome. Take the tour. It's facinating to see the equipment and you'll be shocked how many people it takes to get...
