So brought in my reactive very anxious older puppy in for a nail trimming. I had tried taking him to a different local groomer in the past and it was nothing like we experienced here. He’s a difficult trim for sure and we’ve had a bad experience at the other groomers. But the two people we saw at this place were really amazing. The guy who worked there took the time to try and let my dog warm up to him and feel more secure. The women in the back who trimmed his nails was so patient with him and when he was struggling they let me come back with them to comfort him through the process. He straight up had bitten them both but they didn’t bat an eye and were incredibly kind and understanding. He got his nails done and didn’t seem totally traumatized by it like he did with the other place. I’d recommend them to anyone with a dog who struggles with grooming and needs a kind and understanding environment. They definitely got a long term customer with us. They’re also very reasonably priced. My poor anxious boy got better care here for a $15 nail trim then we revived paying $55 elsewhere for...

I had never boarded my dogs before and was quite nervous about doing so. The reviews for Oak Grove Kennels were quite good and the prices were not the highest around, plus they're a local family business that's been around for years. They asked all the right questions about my dogs and listened to all the medical info I gave them, and then answered all MY questions. I felt much more secure about leaving my dogs in someone else's care after that. They even let me watch through the windows for a while before I left.( nervous mom) And my dogs were fine, of course, when I came back. I did have one little glitch though. I was delayed due to a traffic accident on the highway and was 20 minutes late to pick them up. So I ended up paying for another day's stay. Oops. Hope I don't make that mistake again.
