I purchased 30 green giants for my property and lost all but two trees. They all turned yellow and had to be replaced. I called twice to try to get more information with no call back: I came to Gaskos to speak to the owner. Went up to a worker who immediately told me that there are no returns but to speak to the girls. Went to speak to a woman at the register who immediately became rude and told me that it had to be something I did wrong. I explained to her that I followed the instructions they gave me perfectly and can I please speak to the owner. Never once raising my voice or having an attitude. She kept pointing to the no return sign and telling me that they do not guarantee their plants. I questioned why other farms give a year and she said they also charge alot more, which was not correct information. I asked to speak to the owner and she said she is the owners wife and that I can try to go find him “somewhere” and dismissed me. I decided to still try with the owner since he was very nice to me when I made the original order but could not remember what he looked like. I came up to a man and asked him if he was the owner but once again I was met with a rude tone and he just said “why are you asking?” I explained my situation and he too said that I did something wrong and that they do not give refunds. When I tried to say I did everything you guys told me to do, he just started driving away in the cart. Me and another customer were both sitting there shocked at how rude he was. The other customer said “ I see the way they treated you and how he just spoke to me, I am taking my business elsewhere”. What kills me is I didnt once say I wanted a complete refund but when you spend over 2k on trees, I would expect at least a more pleasant conversation. Perhaps they could have offered to replace some trees or offered a small credit for a different tree. Something! There was only one way to describe how I was treated today and thats garbage. This place is so use to being busy they forget who gives them this business. If they were just a shop starting out, I am positive I would have been treated differently and fairly. I saved to put these trees on my property and took really good care of them. Im no Martha Stewart but I maintain my investments and this was a large one. I am completely shocked at the attitude and rudeness that I received. Treated like a complete idiot who was wasting their time with my presence. I hope the actual owner who I was never able to find bc noone would get him or point me in the right direction reads this and lets his people know that you should treat everyone with respect and kindness when they visit your farm no matter the reason. Im so upset right now...

Read moreI love this place so much. Despite living 30 mins away, I still come willingly because they have great prices on plants. Granted, their selection is mostly focused on outdoor plant, small shrubs and trees for landscaping, but there are definitely a lot that are still suitable for indoor environments.
I first visited mid-March this year, and though I was a bit early, they still had a wide selection of vegetables, herbs, and ornamentals. A lot of them were still young and small, but the prices they were sold at were great. I came back at the beginning of May and I can honestly attest to the plants having grown a great deal. Yes, as their plants grew, their prices also went up (even then, it wasn’t that much) but I was glad to see that they had more of the same plants, just younger, being sold for the same prices as they were the last time I came. I am obsessed with their coleus varieties (I think I counted 16) all of which I have at least a 5” pot of; which I know it’s a lot, so I guess you can call me a fiend for coleus.
They have many large hanging coco baskets, trays of tiny little 2” pots, 10” hanging baskets etc. They also have a nice variety of pots, but they’re mostly for outdoors, and some of them don’t even have holes. There aren’t much in stock (at least from what I’ve seen) smaller than 12”, but it’s not a place that “specializes” in pots, so you can’t hold that against them.
You can really tell that they genuinely do care a lot for the stuff they sell and that they have a lot of expertise and experience, because the plants are lush, and there aren’t any brown/yellow leaves in sight. 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely come to again. Lol just not on the weekends. They barely have enough carts to accommodate every single customer, and you would have to wait nearly 15 mins just to wait for someone whose cart wasn’t already “claimed” by someone else. If you do end up going because it’s really your only free day, I suggest coming early, and if that still doesn’t work, try asking somebody who’s already in line to pay for their cart and stand beside them (yes it’s really that serious, especially in the days nearing...
